Why Art For Sabra?

Sabra

A Jewish Ministry in fellowship with Christian’s helping people in Israel, Romania and Siberia.

Moti Klimer, Founder of Sabra, was born in Israel and grew up in an orthodox Jewish family. After having served for 20 years in the Israeli army he became the Principal of a boarding school. In 1996 he went to Siberia as the Director of a Jewish Agency for Siberia and the Russian Far East. There he founded the Sabra Ministry in order to implement the vision he had been given by the Lord.

Sabra Vision

To build bridges between Christians and Jews, by working together. Amos 3v3.

Mercy

“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hands to do so” Proverbs 3v27

Sabra helps the elderly, handicapped, ill and poor people by supplying them with desperately needed humanitarian aid. Sabra also supports Jewish communities and organizations with aid and teaching materials.

Orphans

Sabra helps orphans in foster families, schools and orphanages in Siberia. Sabra adopted four orphanages and helps them with almost everything from food, clothing, medication and maintenance in the homes.

Sabra’s work in Israel is focused on the children of Israel. Sabra supports and helps families, single-parent children and children from very poor families. We also help local schools with finance for school buses and to provide school meals to children who would otherwise go without.

The work with orphans in Siberia

The number of children in orphanages in Siberia has increased threefold over the past 10 years. Many of these children have in fact been abandoned. Children who are fostered are very often taken into poor families and Sabra also helps these orphan children and their foster families.

Sabra aims to give the children hope for a happier future by helping to provide care for their health, education and development.
